Abstract Instructions

ACS(I) Best Dermatosurgery Thesis Award – ACSICON 2026

  1. Eligibility: Postgraduates who completed their examination within the preceding two years. The thesis must relate to Dermatosurgery/Cutaneous Surgery.
  2. The candidate must be a Provisional or Life Member of ACS(I). The Guide must be a Life Member of ACS(I).
  3. Only one submission per Guide will be accepted.
  4. The abstract should be limited to 300 words, highlighting originality, innovation, and research methodology.
  5. An originality declaration signed by the candidate, guide, and co-guide is mandatory.
  6. Candidates must complete ACSICON 2026 Conference Registration before participation.
  7. The presentation duration will be 7 minutes, followed by questions from the judges.
  8. The award is subject to the conference rules and publication policies of ACS(I).

ACS(I) Video Presentation Award – ACSICON 2026

  1. The competition is open to all ACS(I) members.
  2. Videos must be submitted in MP4 format with a maximum duration of 5 minutes.
  3. Written informed patient consent is mandatory, and the patient's identity must be completely concealed in the video.
  4. Videos should be of professional quality with a clear, step-by-step presentation of the procedure.
  5. Before and after clinical images may be included wherever applicable.
  6. Candidates must complete ACSICON 2026 Conference Registration before participation.
  7. The winning entry will be honoured during the Valedictory Function of ACSICON 2026.

ACS(I) Innovation Award – ACSICON 2026

  1. The competition is open to all ACS(I) Life Members.
  2. Participants must submit complete details of their innovation along with supporting photographs, videos, diagrams, or other relevant documentation.
  3. Candidates must complete ACSICON 2026 Conference Registration before participation.
  4. Each shortlisted candidate will be allotted 7 minutes for the presentation, followed by an interaction and questions from the judges.
  5. Innovations will be evaluated based on originality, clinical utility, innovation, feasibility, and cost-effectiveness.
  6. The winner will receive an ACS(I) Innovation Award Certificate and a cash prize/award as decided by the ACS(I) Executive Committee.

ACS(I) Young Cutaneous Surgeon Award – ACSICON 2026

The Association of Cutaneous Surgeons (India) [ACS(I)] is pleased to invite applications for the ACS(I) Young Cutaneous Surgeon Award, which will be presented during ACSICON 2026, Goa.

  1. Only Life Members of ACS(I) are eligible to apply.
  2. The applicant should be less than 45 years of age on the closing date of applications.
  3. The applicant must possess an NMC (formerly MCI) recognized postgraduate qualification in Dermatology.
  4. Applicants must be registered delegates of ACSICON 2026.
  5. Applications will undergo a blinded evaluation by an expert jury appointed by ACS(I).
  6. The selected candidate will be notified by the Honorary Secretary, ACS(I) prior to the conference.
  7. The award will be presented by the President, ACS(I) during the Inaugural Ceremony of ACSICON 2026.
  8. The award comprises , a memento, and a certificate.

Free Paper, E-Poster, Award Papers – ACSICON 2026

  1. Eligibility:All ACS(I) members.
  2. The candidate must be a Provisional or Life Member of ACS(I). The Guide must be a Life Member of ACS(I).
  3. Abstracts submitted should preferably be original research work.
  4. Abstracts already published or presented at previous conferences should not be submitted.
  5. Abstracts will be accepted only via ACSICON2026 website.
  6. Abstracts received after the deadline will not be considered
  7. Abstract Title maximum 20 words. The abstract should be limited to 300 words, highlighting originality, innovation, and research methodology.
  8. Candidates must complete ACSICON 2026 Conference Registration before participation.
  9. Standard abbreviations are acceptable. Uncommon abbreviations must be put in parenthesis and preceded by the full word the first time it appears in the text
  10. Certificate will only be provided to the presenting author. Certificates will not be handed over to any representative.
  11. Award paper will have three prizes 1st, 2nd and 3rd.
